school work is piling up to like forever.
assignments, essays, tests, presentations spell E-N-D-L-E-S-S! :(

i'm getting super lazy to update cause after i finish my work, i just wanna nua.

even as we slog out the days here, we still steal time to enjoy ourselves as and when we can! :)

beijing another day!

these two days were happy (mon+tue)days! :) cause after finishing our irritating essays which killed most of our braincells, we went out shopping, ate good food & went to kbox!

in class, all ready to set off..

they were all in heels! qiang.

the prettiest toilet in china! at a shopping centre near our hostel..

after walking for hours, we got a little tired..

so we fooled around a bit..

before heading off for dinner! on the way there was this person giving out balloons, so we all went to get one! :D

the jap restaurant was full, so we had to wait for quite a while.. snap snap snap-ing to keep ourselves entertained..

ended class early on tue, so we headed down for ktv! :) the place is super dee duper posh!!! :D we were so amazed! we even had like 3 guys to open the taxi door for us!

there was also these smaller buttons at the side of the rooms, to adjust the mic vol/pitch, change song... etc, very convinient! :)

okay! i'm finally updating! this quite a backdated entry.. we went to donghu on 30th march.
anyway, better late then never :) tee hee

we gobbled our lunch before heading for the excursion bus...

our first stop: wuhan university!

the scenary at the campus is... beautiful!

this is the library of the campus.. we didnt go in though, just took photos of the huge library!

roomie scared a little kiddy while persuading her to take a photo..

nxt we headed to the 樱园 to see the sakuras! :)

cheapo bought himself a sunwukong figurine for rmb5, which he held super dearly to cause it was made of playdough and he was afraid we would squash it or something..

a cute kiddy we saw on our way back to the bus! :D

our nxt stop was 东湖 & 楚城..

she's my 楚文化 lecturer! she's really nice & cute! (not like a certain someone)

saturdays are my fav days here! cause we take time off from the chim lessons and schoolwork to go shopping & eat :)

we went to this korean restaurant last sat! it was not bad i guess :) but i forgot to take photo of our sushi! :S

shopped around the streets and shopping malls nearby before we stopped by macs for ice cream! :)

the queue here is seriously madness, like ppl cut queue frm here there and everywhere! gets so irritating!

yupp, there's not much order to the queues too. grrrr. :/

finally got ice cream! that's their mini sundae..

we found this newly opened pao shop!!

it's really yummy! & cheap too! :D (i never really liked pao back in singapore, but it tastes so good here! maybe cause it reminds me of singapore :/ )

visited this bookstore on sunday. it sells ALOT of 古文学 books!

sorry! been busy with my 2k essay... which dateline's been extended :D haha.

so yes, my life here has been v normal without much new interesting stuff. ha. oh wells.

anw, the other day clement bought a mahjong set so we went down to their room to play mahjong! :)

the only thing was that the tiles were like super duper uber teeny weeny!! (like smaller than the tip of our fingers!)

around the school, near the hostel..

the yummy bubble tea shop nearby..

today the electricity & water supply for my hostel, classrooms & surroundings of the school was cut off frm 8am all the way till 7pm! :S

so we headed to 群光 for lunch (& to use their toilet; it's the cleanest here!) :D

went to our fav jap restaurant! & got to seat at the tatami corner!!

saturday shopping

been busy with school, and the internet connection here's been vv unstable! :S v irritating! but oh wells, no point complaining.. at least there's internet connection now! :)

anw, we shifted to a building which is a 5min walk frm our hostel. which is good cause we can wake up later.. but apparently china has a rule that a building that is less than _storeys cant have a lift. & my classes are on the 5th & 6th level. so yah, daily excercise >.<

the scenary is v nice! :)

the wind gets a little chilly at times though..

the electric wires here are like madness! cause they're so openly coiled up everywhere. :S

today's sat, so we decided to head out of the hostel instead of slacking in our cosy little room.. we went to macs for breakfast cause sh was craving for hotcakes..

ivy found a church which is abt 15min cab ride away from our hostel, so we went to check it out today :)

we successfully located the place & will be going for their 930am service this sun :)

teehee, after locating the church, we ventured around walking aimlessly. but we found loads of nice stalls & food!

settled down for dinner at 豪客家族, a very posh steak restaurant with very nice ambience! :)

ivy's looking through the menu.. she said she wants everything! ha.

(i couldnt decide what to eat either, so i tossed a coin :D )

the menu reads: Spicy and Sour Chicken Bowels. any takers? :P

so we patiently waited for our food..

mine's a steak set meal for RMB36

whereas ivy ordered this korean rice set thingy for RMB29

i enjoyed the meal! :)

& of course the company :)

after dinner we went shopping! found a bugis-street-alike place.. we both got sesame street towels & some snacks before heading back to hostel :)

went shopping at hankou with raylaoshi & the rest. roomie got 2 pairs of shoes! ha. the guys, fubi & raylaoshi got stuff too! so it was a fufilling shopping trip i guess :)

after shopping ray laoshi brought us to a park. we went to ride on the park shuttle. we felt that RMB10 for the buggy ride was a little ex, but the experience was good :)

not much photos of the day though. (cause of the safety of my cam & my phone was flat)

oh && we waited 1hour plus for a cab!! we walked and waited and walked and waited, until finally we hailed a cab at 胜利街! haha.

we went to some museum on saturday.

tried out the 鸡蛋炒年糕 from the 小炒 near our hostel.. it tastes like singapore's carrot cake!! i miss singapore :(

in class.... we'll be shifting to another blk nearer our hostel soon! so means no need walk that far :)

was greeted in the morning by flakes of snow! :)

it was a pleasant surprise! & we all went out to have fun snapping away in the little snowfall!

(i guess we're really fortunate to see snow! though it was a brief moment... cause later on during class the lecturer said it hasnt snowed in the mar season for yrs! )

first day at school... chalkboard!

it was freezing by lunch time!! & we were all both hungry + cold! (i think it was 0degrees or lower) so we headed to the nearest restaurant for food! i think we practically gobbled up our food! :P

4 dishes, RMB45!! means each person RMB9 only! :D

then had more lessons before class ended and we explored the skl a little.. took the school shuttle from 东门 to 南门 to 西门(where our hostel is) after which we roamed ard 群光 while waiting for the guys to have dinner together..

& went back to take photos with the carousel!

finally we headed to this jap restaurant for dinner..

today was a shopping day! cause we had free & easy time :)

woke up at abt 830am, it's s-u-p-e-r cold to bathe in the morning!!! :/ hahaha. anw, after which we slacked around in the room before going out to 群光with roomie, clement & jl..

in the shopping centre...

clement is looking through the floors to see where we shd start walking..

we saw the carousel and got super excited!!

there were little kids at the fishing area too!

and that's the kids play area in the mall itself..

i like the theme of the mall! so castle-like!

we roamed around the foodcourt area.. & i found this stall rather interesting! it's melted sugar drawn into shapes! super cool!

we finally settled down at a western restaurant..

the deco was v nice! :)

the guys were enjoying each other's company & 暧昧ing! :X

the weather was super duper uber cold today! & it was raining too! so it was double-ly cold! :/ my shoes are all soaked, so i'm gonna go find a pair of boots tmr! :D

anw, so we were all wrapped up in thick thick layers of cold wear!

we visited the supermarket today!

hello! i've reached wuhan safely! :D

on the plane.. i stopped crying soon after okay! :)
